Why you need PAT Testing
PAT testing companies' prices can vary depending on the level of service required and provided. The Health and Safety at Work Act makes you, not your PAT Testing Company, responsible if you have an accident; therefore, we ensure that our service is second to none and that our testing covers every area required so that you do not get left footing the bill from an accident.
Although PAT testing is not a legal requirement as a corporation, school, landlord etc. it is in your best interest to have all your appliances tested for electrical safety in accordance with the Code of Practice for In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment not only for peace of mind but to ensure that everyone is kept safe. Our PAT tests are in depth and include a full detailed visual inspection which involves; checking the cabling and inspection of each individual fuse, checking for any damage as well as electrical testing of the earthing component and insulation. We will also ensure that every portable item is inspected including those in difficult places.
We offer a service that completely suits you; whether this requires us to work out of hours or without causing disruption to the day to day operations.
At DEC Electrical we also include free minor repairs and fuse replacements for faulty items and next day follow on works to make the process as quick and effortless for you as possible. Your certification will be processed by our office team the very same day and you will receive an online version as well as log in details to our website where we will always keep a copy of your certification for easy access!
As a PAT Testing customer, you can expect;
A visit by a trained and experienced consultant to inspect the work needing to be carried out, the procedures currently in place, the work carried out previously and to make preliminary observations and recommendations
A detailed certificate and report containing results for individual items, recommendations and advice
Short training sessions for your staff in basic electrical safety and how to carry out required 'user checks' going forward. Our engineers will show you exactly how you can manage your appliances and perform regular checks throughout the year to ensure your appliances are kept in good, safe, working order
